Why a blog?

Why another useless blog? I don't know, I was bored tonite. Really, I got inspired for some reason to do this while driving in my car today. I was listening to the first Wilderness album and became totally engrossed in song 4, 'End of Freedom.'

Something about the slow beginning, the icy guitars and then the song picks up with a driving beat and guitars build and finally we get a call and response with the singer asking "What is ending?" and is answered by some female vocalists intoning "the end of freedom." I don't know why this resonated with me, but it did and I thought about those words and said to myself, 'that might be a cool blog title.' So there we go.

I had toyed with the idea before, but always shot it down because I figured none of my friends will read it and no one cares about a new blog. I had thought about writing about the record label too on a blog so maybe I'll carry that on over and do that. I think I'll write about whatever interests me and what comes to mind. A lot of it will be about music though and my always put off but always on my mind mix cd series I have wanted to do for some time. Or maybe I'll turn that cd series into a podcast, but I have to research the legalities of all that. I'll try to update regularly until I get bored or until I realise no one reads it and no one cares...
